Swipe through your library
Allow photo access, then swipe: left to mark for removal, right to keep. Tap or pinch a photo to inspect it first.

Review your queue
Open the Review tab to see everything you marked. Tap a thumbnail to restore it, or restore all with one tap.

Confirm and track progress
Confirm the batch and iOS moves the photos to Recently Deleted. Your stats show the storage you’ve freed over time.

Common questions about Swide
Does Swide work on iPad?
Yes. Swide runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS / iPadOS 15 or later). On iPad it supports portrait and landscape, Split View and Stage Manager, adapts photo grids to the window width, and supports trackpad pinch-to-zoom with a Magic Keyboard.
Does Swide delete photos automatically?
No. Swiping only adds a photo to your deletion queue. Nothing is removed until you open the queue, review it, and confirm the batch.
Are my photos uploaded to Swide servers?
No. Photo review and the deletion queue run on your device. Swide does not upload your photos to its servers for processing. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What happens to photos stored in iCloud?
Swide works with your Photos library, including iCloud Photos. An optional setting skips photos that haven’t finished downloading from iCloud, so they never appear in your cleaning stack.
What does Swide Pro add?
Swide Pro removes the free-tier deletion limit, lets you clean a specific album, and unlocks undo. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe and billed by Apple. See the Terms of Use.
Will Swide free up storage?
Storage freed depends on what you delete and how iOS manages your library, including Recently Deleted and iCloud Photos settings. Swide shows the storage you’ve freed in its stats screen.
